Soups On

Here are a two of my favorite soups that I tried many years ago from various cooking websites! I've made these many times since finding them!

Chicken Tortilla Soup
Chicken Tortilla Soup
This is a delicious and easy soup! What is so great about this soup is not only the authentic Mexican flavors but that it can be made and ready to serve in less than an hour! Here is the link to that recipe...

Greek Gyros

Greek Gyros

I love seasoned meat that is roasted(or grilled), juicy and sliced thin. Then when you add a creamy, tangy, feta cheese dressing and some fresh chopped veggies like onions, lettuce and tomatoes...well, I'm in heaven! Neatly wrap it in some soft flatbread and you have the perfect gyro!

Adobo Roast Pork Loin

Adobo Roast Pork Loin

I have many pork 'chop' recipes but not many pork 'roast' recipes! I don't think I'll ever need to look for another pork roast recipe after trying this one because it was the best pork roast I've ever tasted! And I love how easy it was to make! Only 6 ingredients in this perfectly delicious recipe! Just mix together the simple spice ingredients, then rub it all over the pork loin and bake for 40-45 minutes.

Easy Oven Luau Ribs!

Easy Oven Luau Ribs!
This is one of those rare recipes that makes you do a happy dance after you taste it! I was shown this recipe by a foodie friend named Michelle Conner!
She found this recipe in an old 1979 cookbook put out by the American Martyrs Catholic church in Manhattan Beach, Ca....called 'Recipes and Remembrances'.

Island Pork Chops with White Wine Cream Sauce

Island Pork Chops with White Wine Cream Sauce

I just love creamy sauces and I just love unique ingredients! This recipe has all that and more! The original recipe called for a pork tenderloin but I just used thick, center cut, boneless pork chops.

Asian Spaghetti and Meatballs

Asian Spaghetti and Meatballs

Yes, I tried another Asian style recipe! I know...I may need an intervention!

I loved the meatballs in this recipe! I was so tempted to add some salt and other seasonings, but after I tasted it, I thought it was perfect! No seasoning needed! These meatballs were so flavorful from the pork, toasted sesame seeds and green onions!
These meatballs would also be perfect served alone as a cocktail meatball!

Cornmeal Crusted Pork Chops

Cornmeal Crusted Pork Chops

I love to find new ways to prepare pork chops! I've been buying lots of pork chops these days because I've been finding great sales! I can never pass up a great meat sale! So now I just need TONS of recipes for yummy ways to prepare pork chops!

This recipe sounded very interesting because of the cornmeal. I've never used cornmeal to coat pork chops. This worked out really well!

Easy Crockpot Thai Pork

Easy Crockpot Thai Pork

Easy crockpot recipes just make life so much simpler! And I love these crockpot liners because they make crockpot cooking twice as easy! I know it says 'SlowCooker' on the box, but it's all the same to me. I never use my crockpot/slowcooker without them. If you can't find them in your local food store ask the store to order them. King Kullen grocery stores and Ace Hardware stores sell them. I always buy them from Ace in large quantities!

Try this wonderful Thai dish in your crockpot or slowcooker. Easy to make and so delicious!
